Avoid unnecessary stress that you bring on yourself at work.  Learn to pace yourself while at work to reduce stress.  Be more alert and focused instead of overwhelmed.

Make Life Simpler in the Workplace

Some of these tips are obvious but have you really tried the obvious tips?

Get to bed at a decent hour.

Most adults need 8 to 9 hours of sleep.

Get up earlier in the mornings.  Wake up two to three hours earlier.  Exercise for 15 or 20 minutes.  Shower this will wake you up and revive you.  Drink your coffee and eat a light breakfast.  You will have more energy longer.  Make a light lunch.  Add a few snacks to last you through your day instead of eating a big lunch.  Eating a big lunch often causes you to get sleepy while working.

Show up at the workplace 30 to 45 minutes earlier than you are suppose too.  You will feel less stressed in the workplace you, will not feel as rushed, and overwhelmed the minute when you get on the job.

Ask for help from a colleague if you need help or suggestions on projects.  You will save yourself time and you will stop pulling your hair out every time you are stuck.

If you are behind at work and you are forced to work through lunch.  You should not skip eating.  Bring food you can snack on throughout the day.

Get rid of tension in your neck and back.  Tension in your back will cause you to tire out and lose focus.

Get up and stretch.  If possible, in the workplace use a ball to relieve the tension described here in this article.  “How to Massage and Crack Your Own Back” You can do wonders to relieve the stress while in the workplace.
